Common installation issues and solutions

Android users may see a warning "Unknown app developer" or "Untrusted developer." This is normal because we do not distribute through the Google Play Store. To proceed, go to your phone's Settings → Security (or Applications), enable "Unknown Sources," and try again. After installation, you may disable "Unknown Sources" for security.

Some Android devices use Knox Security or similar sandboxing. If the APK fails to install, disable Knox for the lux78 app installation, then re-enable it. If the app crashes on startup, try clearing your browser cache (Settings → Apps → lux78 → Storage → Clear Cache) and reinstall.

iOS users may not see push notifications because Safari requires you to grant permission in Settings → lux78 → Notifications. The web app works without notifications, but opt-in improves your experience. If you lose the home-screen icon, you can recreate it by visiting lux78.id and tapping "Add to Home Screen" again.

Data, permissions, and account security on lux78

The lux78 app requests permission to access your internet connection (required to reach our servers), your device storage (to cache game assets offline), and optionally your contacts or camera (for identity verification during KYC). We do not access your contacts unless you explicitly authorise it for verification. We never sell or share your permissions data.

All communication between your phone and our servers uses SSL encryption. Your password, payment details, and account activity are encrypted in transit. We do not store full payment credentials on your device; only session tokens and cached game data are stored locally. If your phone is lost or stolen, log in from another device and change your password immediately; we will invalidate all active sessions on the old device.
